Spring Webinar documents have been posted in the System Updates area of the SDS.


Marks for courses that end in May are due June 8th.

Please run the Student Registration report to ensure all students are registered in the correct classes on the SDS.

April 10, 2018

Reminder: March 30th was the date to have class registrations in the SDS for all classes that end on or before the end of June. The Student Registration report found on the SDS includes the grade 10 to 12 classes each student is registered in. Also, the report includes any departmental exams to be distributed for your students. Please check this report carefully to ensure students are registered in the correct classes and the departmental exams to be distributed is accurate.

Reminder: The deadline to submit marks for courses ending in January is February 8, 2018. Transcripts will be printed and sent out during the week of February 12th. Please ensure all marks are posted to the SDS prior to the deadline of February 8th.

December 12, 2017 - Important Notice

Effective December 15, 2017, the Information Management and Support Branch (Student and Educator Services and Data Value and Interpretation Unit) will be relocating to 2220 College Avenue.

Note: All mail, including mail for Student and Educator Services, Student Records or Provincial Exams will need to be sent to:

We would also like to advise you that support on December 15, 2017 may be limited due to the move. We apologize if this causes any inconveniences and we thank you for your cooperation during this time.

As a result of the move, the front counter pickup service for transcripts will no longer be available effective December 15, 2017.  The online high school transcript web application will continue to offer regular mail and expedited delivery service options for all Saskatchewan clients.

The discrepancies between the data in the SDS and Discoverer have been resolved. You can resume running enrolment verification reports in Discoverer.

SDS outage dates still apply: today 4:00 pm to Tuesday 8:00 am.

We are aware of potential discrepancies between the data in the SDS and Discoverer.  Please ensure that your enrolment information is complete and correct in the SDS.  Enrolment verification reports found on the SDS should be run to validate data however please be patient and  submit only as required  to limit the load on the report server.

To facilitate the September 30 enrolment data collection, the SDS will be unavailable from Friday, September 29 at 4:00 p.m. until Tuesday, October 3 at 8:00 a.m.

Welcome to the 2017/2018 School Year!

The 2017/2018 Registrar's Handbook for School Administrators and all supporting documents are available on Please bookmark Registrar's Handbook for a direct link to this important resource for school administrators. Reminder: All forms saved or printed previous to August 2017 should be destroyed. The Data Submission Timelines can be found in Section 4.2 page 54. Please refer to the newly formatted Student Data System Task Reference List. This list can be found in Appendix I.

2017 General Proficiency Awards Timeline

September 6: Principals submit completed student nomination forms to their director.
September 14: Directors verify and enter nominees in the GPA application on the Ministry of Education Student Data System (SDS).

One more day until the deadline for mark entry for 2nd semester marks. Prior to leaving for the summer, please run your registration report and/or mark reporting forms and verify that all marks have been submitted.

The transcript run for pre-ordered paid transcripts to be sent to Post Secondary Institutes is on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. The complimentary transcript run will start as soon as the paid transcript run is complete.


Please do NOT submit more than one file for the same school at the same time as it creates conflicts and locks tables. This can cause up to an hour delay in the processing of files for your school as well as other schools. Ensure your response files are received prior to submitting another file.
